Japanese Catholics and Protestants both consider her a  hero of the faith and a martyr. You can read part of her story at <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hosokawa_Gracia\">Wikipedia<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The famous theologian, Tertullian, once said,&#8221;the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.&#8221; Japan has had <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Martyrs_of_Japan\">uncounted martyrs<\/a> probably numbering to hundreds of thousands. <\/p>\n<p>Lord Jesus, we ask you to bless and grow your church in this land where so many have died for Your Name!  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The weather was warmer today in Osaka and we got a little rain, so it feels like spring is coming soon!
